Me, You and Everything Else

Through words and photographs, ‘Me, You and Everything Else’ offers a compelling portrait of life on Castle Vale Estate as it is lived today. Originally the site of an airfield and aircraft production in the Second World War, the estate, which was first built in the early 60s, was completely redeveloped in the 1990s. For the project, young people from Castle Vale performing arts college and the Sanctuary youth centre worked with older participants from Castle Vale community housing association sheltered housing to create their own view of the estate as they see it, of friends and family and of themselves.
