The Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship returns to Nailcote Hall and will play host to a huge array of big names from the world of golf in addition to well known celebrities from the world of television, sport and the media.

The championship consists of 3 parts:

Celebrity – Amateur Day: The 4-day golfing extravaganza kicks off on Tuesday 10th August 2010 when teams of 3 amateur golfers are paired with a celebrity personality to take on the challenges of the Cromwell Course. Having completed the 18 holes players, celebrities and their guests are invited to attend the sensational Black Tie Gala Ball in which we will be celebrating Tony Jacklin CBE winning the renowned U.S Open in 1970.

The Pro-Am Championship: Amateur golfers are paired with a PGA or European Tour professional, who are competing for the distinguished title of the ‘British Par 3 Champion 2010’. In addition, there is also a fabulous prize for the best Pro-Am pairing. The evening of 11th August will be celebrated with a stunning V.I.P Players Banquet to unwind and prepare for the next days golfing. The 2 days are closed with a wonderful prize giving ceremony, where the ‘British Par 3 Champion’ will be announced.

The Grand Finale Celebrity-Amateur Golf Day: 13th August 2010 is the sensational concluding event of the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, in which during the day teams of 3 amateur golfers enjoy 18 holes of golf with a celebrity personality from the world of sport or entertainment. Following the final day around the course, the evening will conclude with a spectacular Grand Finale Black Tie Ball in which players, celebrities and their guests will be invited to join in the celebrations with great food, company and entertainment, hosted by the legendary Tony Jacklin CBE.
